I am always a nature lover .Anything about trees, plants, flowers, in different shapes, sizes, colors, textures. Just by looking at them give me peace and serenity . The perfection of its form showcases the greatness of God's awesome creation. Travel can bring you to a new perspective - it makes you see the vastness of God's divine power to create such an incomparable beauty. God’s infinite greatness is seen in nature.and it reminds me of one verse in the bible "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore". Psalms 16:11

One uniqueness from Dewi Sri Farm, in Hotels and other resorts - guards, staff , front desk greets guest , here in Dewi Sri Farm, as you enter their gated facility, you will be welcomed by their astounding nature - tall, short trees - waving , cool fresh breeze kiss, smiles of the flowers, wow! this is a sure excellent way to welcome a guest.

As we approach nearly the next entry to their pavilion, a man in his bike greeted us with a beautiful smile and assisted us promptly. As we enter the main entrance , the beautiful swimming pool is very inviting, its teasing us right away to get a quick splash in that very hot approaching summer heat. Then as we have our seat, another staff is coming with a smile and greets us with a glass of fresh Red Dragon Fruit coolers. This taste superb and extremely refreshing. Plus they also offered us with Crispy Spinach with garlic mayo dips- tastes so good, plain and perfect partner with our coolers. Their staff are very friendly and so accommodating that makes you feel so homey comfortable.

One more thing that excites me everytime I have my getaway is to try new dishes. Specially if it speaks also their culture. Dewi Sri Farm is a Bali inspired resort and I am so excited to try Indonesian cuisines. These are the food that they served - Spinach Egg Drop Soup, Beef Rendang, Ayam Kuning(Yellow Chicken), Nasi Kuning ( Yellow Rice) Mie Goreng (Indonesian Fried Noodles.) And ofcourse their dessert Mango Tapioca,

These are all new to me and I am so excited to taste them.

First is their Spinach Egg Drop Soup - its taste so good, the blending of spinach and egg is perfectly fine. It gives your tummy a smooth tap that appetizes you for their main course. I love it.

Then their Beef Rendang - this looks similar to our Pinoy Morcon, the taste also almost the same the difference is it has coconut milk and spiciness taste which gives more kick in its uniqueness, I love it so much. Promise you will surely love it too.

Nasi Kuning ( Yellow Rice) it has a curry powder taste, the texture of rice is so perfectly cooked , it can easily make you burp fast so I suggest you have to eat just some so that you won't feel bloated.

Mie Goreng (Indonesian Fried Noodles) as they served it , I recalled my favorite korean food Bibimbop, presentation is somewhat similar though Bibimbop has more toppings and it's a rice meal, Mie Goreng has egg, spinach and chicken toppings, then a very flavourful stir fry noodles - this one taste really good , for me this is similar taste with my favorite Korean Chapchae.

All in all, my Indonesian cuisine experience was superb - from presentation, servings and taste , everything were uniquely special and gives an awesome gastronomic kick.

Then let's move to the next part that all travelers looks forward to in their getaway is the accommodation and facilities. Travelers want an accommodation which can give comfort and security during the stay. What we had was their Java Hut Main – these were 3 air conditioned rooms with 4 bedrooms each and it has attic area that has 3 beds. It has dining room, living room, kitchen and a veranda. This was like a whole homey stay for us. The place was very private and safe.

We stayed in the masters bedroom. I am so particular everytime I stayed in any hotel is their restrooms and I was so satisfied - specially this is the first time I see a uniquely nature designed shower room - wow this area is very instagrammable ha ha and for me it's a plus factor .

Okay now I want to share my most favorite moment of my stay here was during our dinner time in their Pavilion - they set an awesome mood wherein our team had our bonding time so special -they played a very good music that is so perfect with the ambiance, very fine breeze of freshness of air at night surrounded by trees and the pavilion just beside the pool area - with a cup of coffee and tea, really sets an awesome mood for us and makes us our sharing moments more special - talking about past travel/events with extraordinary challenges that brought tears, learning and end up with laughs - fun stories, celebrating together each other praise reports - new blessings opportunities that happened, sharing joys. This was made perfect with the atmosphere set before us by Dewi Sri Farm, thank you so much for this unforgettable experience.

Package inclusions in their overnight accommodation are welcome drinks and snack upon check in, Dinner and Breakfast, the morning snack is serve before check out, there's also free coffee or tea for the duration of stay, pool and pavilion access, guided farm tour and fish and fowl feeding. Other activities to expect is harvesting of their seasoned fruit trees.

I super love sweets, one of the reasons why I indulged into baking and came up with my “Eunnies Sweet Delights.”

I am a big fan of pastries and TARTS are among my favorites... Before I receive this box of pasalubong from MERZCI, I am hundred percent sure it taste great because it comes from no less than the original maker in Bacolod.

"WOW". First I tried their Butterscotch, the taste is just perfect not too sweet. It tastes so good. Each pack contains 5. I finished it so fast. Then I tried the Biscocho, this is very different from the other biscochos I tried from other stores , it’s so creamy, not too toasted, good to the bite. Best to partner with hot coffee, chocolate or tea. Simply the best!

And the TARTS…. Caramel, Cheese and Mango flavored, they are all equally delicious!!! But of course, I have my favorite… the Caramel Tart. The taste is so fabulous, I so loved it... Super! The sweetness lingers on my taste buds, it makes me crave for more.

I will definitely order Merzci products and share it with my loved ones, they will surely love it. Thanks again Merzci Pasalubong , from now on , your products will be on my favorites list ...
