In a very stressful week at work or whatever schedule or unfornate events that consumed your every day, life definitely needs an extreme stress reliever getaway. A break that will make your adrenaline rush that will surely ease and relieve bad toxins in your body because of stress which can make you in distress. Travel is one best way to see the other side of the world. It opens realization that life is meant to be enjoyed, to be fully lived and shared with the most special people in your life.

Today, I'm about to experience fun and exciting challenges in a huge inflatable water park created by Aqua Play Parks Philippines - AquaPlayParks.com the man behind this wonderful creation is Mr. Peter Appleton, managed by Kamia Bay Resort here in the South part of Puerto Princesa Palawan. True learning are way different from the actual experience, quite nervous because I am just a beginner in swimming. But they have awesome staff that will unconditionally assist you all the way to make sure you feel so at ease and relaxed.

My first trial was the kayak ride you have to take going to the inflatable obstacles. This is my first time in a Kayak ride and I can say this is a pretty cool experience having a shoulder arm paddle to make the Kayak move going to the Volleyball water park inflatables. When I get off, my childhood memories of playing started flashing, as in wow! Prior to coming here , the day before I flew to Palawan, i got bad news - my cousin died. The very moment over those water park inflatables.... brought me to the time when I was playing volleyball with her and got a little emotional because she was more than a cousin to me she was one of my very first friend in my childhood days. Well anyway, I am sure where she is now is a better place -there will be no pain, no sickness, just wholeness.

Going back to this volleyball water park inflatables, I got so amazed with the gifts that God has given us - in the bible it says we were given many gifts and it was up to us to discover and unleash the very best that God has for us just like with these gift that He has for Mr. Peter Appleton , God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. And all these obstacle inflables are truly extraordinary. Every obstacles needs corresponding skills, strategy, strength and you need to be fully armored to endure and finish all the courses. Just like in human launcher - you need courage, and also need not just to prepare yourself physically but also emotionally because your drive to want to try something begins with the state of mind saying " yes you can, indeed, surely you can" That's why the power of declaration is so important. Then with the other inflatables - you need balance , focus or else you will fall. ! You need strong adrenaline to try the Slidezilla or the 40 feet slide... Then enjoy your fall . I believed all these obstacles inflatables are not just made for us to have fun, to play and enjoy but also to remember all the basic learnings we need to live on in this life not just to live life to the fullest but also live a life that is meaningful.

And I thank God for His divine connection - sending us to places and bringing us people that gives inspirations and learnings that we need in our journey. Indeed He uses people- like Peter Appleton to create an awesome thing like Aqua Play Parks Philippines to be an instrument of fun, adventure, and at the same time receive message of inspirations. Everything represents real life obstacles that we encounter along the way. Every bounce, slide, fly, fall, wiggle in life makes us stronger braver, tougher.

I so love everything about my Aqua Play Parks Philippines experience, thank you so much Mr. Peter Appleton for these wonderful getaway - every moment is so special, from playing obstacle inflatables to island hopping, the sand bar, amazing rock formations with a small lagoon, eco tour , jetski , speed boat, biking, snorkeling and kayak ride plus great awesome food prepared by Kamia Bay Resort Team made this getaway totally perfect. My First Day with Aqua Play and Kamia Bay resort

My Palawan Adventure at Aqua Play Parks Philippines April 27, 2018, Friday –
The day we have been waiting for. We woke up early to prepare to go to the airport for our 8:55am flight. It has been a long time since my last out of town travel during my Boracay Getaway wayback 2016. But this one was so special because it was my first time to travel Palawan and the excitement got even more intense imagining a moment of jumping , sliding, playing, rolling, splashing in those huge extraordinary inflatables. This meant bringing out the inner kiddie spirit in me... Just by my imagination, my adrenaline was rushing, this was surely going to be an awesome adventure experience.


The CEO/owner of this waterpark happens to be also the designer/creator of these beautiful and lovely inflatables that would definitely give you some stretch, squeezed, bounce, where you will be needing so much of your strength to be able to conquer your play.


As we arrived Puerto Princesa airport around 10:15am, the CEO/Owner of Aquaplay Parks Philipines Mr. Peter Appleton welcomed us with such as a sweet smile and wide opened arms. He was very excited, he even accidentally left his own baggages just giving his full attention on us. So sweet of Anne Purification, she assisted Peter in finding his bag , and we were happy they found it. At first meeting, he already made us feel so at home. It was like knowing him for so many years, ha ha ha... From the airport we rode a van going to our accommodation first to settle our things and have lunch together. Then after that we went to Aqua Play Parks Philippines. We passed through a zigzag road and it was like riding a roller coaster, haha everyone got even more intense feeling and more excited to see the inflatables.


Finally, we arrived and welcomed by a very kind Kamia Bay Resort staffs handing us over summer coolers with my favorite Turon and shell necklaces. Then the head of lifeguard team - Mr. Saldi started giving us some brief orientation about the resorts guidelines. Then it was time for the man behind these brilliant creation Mr. Peter Appleton shared more about what to expect in his obstacle inflatables. He shared how his passion gave birth to this floating playground inflatable obstacles - The Aqua Play Parks Philippines. On our first day, we discovered A lot of things already. It's like a warm up preparation for the obstacles courses with the inflatables the following day. And this will surely be an awesome playtime experience. You will feel so relaxed, as you watch the  beautiful blue sky with your sun glasses on -a totally real summer feeling.

Their unlimited barbecue with rice is another perfect inclusion in your stay here and its super "sarap" they have so tender meat partnered with their big size summer coolers that will definitely complete your dining by the beach experience. This is worth the price rate having all this in their package tour. And if you have plans to stay overnight, they also have a tour package for that. They partnered with a hotel inside SBMA so this can be arranged.

Also, inside their compound is another resort Samba Bluewater Beach that offers Glamping and Campsite which is also good - they also have great facilities like cabanas and one of my favorite is their Jetski where I had a chance to ride - thanks so much for allowing me to have this moment, its been a long time since my last Jetski ride wayback during Boracay and Puerto Galera Vacation with my Korean students.

WingsTUFF Experience

My most favorite part of a fried chicken is the "Wings," it has a very exemplary taste and this is why I am that excited to have those 12 flavourful "Wings" at the newly opened franchise of WingsTUFF in Carmelray Turbina, Calamba Laguna. They are located just right after the stoplight and Iglesia ni Kristo chapel and across Ashton. They also serve combo meals with unli serving of burgers, fries, nachos and of course, their WINGS...

Everything in the resto are their very own signature recipe's and all of them are extremely tasteful. All the meals are all price-worthy, servings are generous.

I love the look of their restaurant from the signages down to their interiors, very appealing and clean. They have very approachable and attentive staff - excellent customer service. Location is very accessible.

The Franchisor shared to us their journey during the time they cruised all over world. They have gained a lot in that experience and this enables them to be ready to venture in the food business. They applied every learnings, from having a taste of American bunches of servings, to the nitty gritty operations from handling staff, to interacting with different types of people. They are very sure that they really have a calling in running this kind of business.

As they started, they achieve more than their expectations. Imagine they were able to get their return of investment (ROI)…. in just in 5 months, wow! This was extraordinary!

Great job Mr. And Mrs. Sadullo. Their concept is totally effective. That's why Ms. Terry decided to franchise, she believes in the concept and has experienced it herself when she dined-in one time - as her gastronomic experience was satisfied, she would love to be part of the success story and growth of WingsTUFF at that instant. It's totally a blast in their opening day.

I am always a Korean Food lover. The simplicity of it's food preparation yet having such as an extremely extraordinary taste makes it a favorite of many just like me. Every dishes signifies the richness of Korean Culture. Just like their Kimchi – with hundreds of variations. In every meal, there goes a kimchi as a side dish. As your order is serve on your table, your tummy started jumping in happiness as they surround you with so many eye catching gastronomic teaser.


The same way here at Oppa Samgyeopsal, they had it all here and the taste are so authentic. Everything was in perfect taste and invite your senses-smell all the flavours, spices, call your sight to all the colorful dishes, touch the freshness of lettuce as you wrap their korean barbeque its texture, and the "taste" that lingers . Oppa Samgyopsal makes your cravings gets into a higher intensity to crave for even more. I so love their flavored chicken "the honey and spicy" - its so crunchy, tastefully tender and juicy. One of the special kick-off teaser in Samgyeopsal is the chili paste so it can’t be blunt just like what I had from the other Korean resto which is really so disappointing but this one passed my standard ...

The look of their restaurant is very millennial. The owner has awesome ideas of going on the trend now and it's very effective. They even have k-pop inspired ambiance - very youthful feeling and homey. This place takes you inside a k-drama wherein you get a feeling of having your meal with your favorite korean star like Lee Min Hoo, Rain, Matteo Do, Kim Re Won or even your K-pop favorites. Would surely be my new favorite hangout place with my mom - now we can have better option than just always eating at fastfoods.

During our visit we also had a chance to have an interview with the owner. Wow, she's another young Entrepreneur. At the age of 27, her passion in the business was driven by all her experiences as she started, which at first she refused when her dad asked her to stay instead of pursuing a career in the United States of America. Along the way, she discovers herself loving it, and learned so many things and even saw her other side - understanding all the people around her comes out automatically. Her journey became very challenging in a very smooth way. That's why now she finds her heart in the business. She's very enthusiastic in sharing everything to us, there's an outpour of her inner excitement on where she is right now though it’s still tough, being so hands on means you are really directly experiencing all the ups and down but still she cope up.


I admire young people who find their place easily and I also love meeting people choosing to stay here in the Philippines than working abroad. It only proves that, working in other country is not the only answer to be successful but success is achievable here in our own country.
