Riding in Tandem Screening
I joined the screening of Riding in Tandem cast Jason Abalos, Khalil and Mara. I have seen Jason in many of his movies and even teleserye, he is also good in acting. Khalil is now in one of the in demand teleserye La Luna Sangre, he has been given a good role here. And Mara , I first saw her in a reality show.
Before the screening, I saw people lined up early to have a chance to have picture with their favorite actors. Just like Khalil fans they even prepared a flashcard with Khalil's name. Fans are really devoted.
Then the cast started coming with their families, guest friends. They had some interviews before they enter the cinema.
The screening went smoothly. One of the pretty much of a must seen movie. Let's all support this movie available in cinemas nationwide.

Every time my church conducts the Pastor's Conference I make sure to volunteer as one of the support members in our Children’s Ministry .That's why when I received this invitation from Inspire ,I didn't hesitate to join and show my support . Our upcoming Pastor's Conference this coming October 24-27, 2017 at Newlife Alabang Christian Center.
We met Pastor Nolan during the blogcon.
Pastor started asking us about blogging. Then all the invited bloggers shared their thoughts. Afterwards, pastor shared how he had started serving God. It's true that God can send us to a place where we can make a difference and fulfill what God has in store for us. And we always have to trust Him for God knows exactly what's best and He will provide all the resources you need in every new assignment. There may be struggles but don’t focus your attention unto it, he can turn things around for you. It's a matter of leveling up our faith and obedience.
Just like our Pastor's Conference mission to equip leaders. I believe “Inspire Church” upcoming conference will equip leaders in their assignment. I declare blessings and success to Inspire Team. This is all for God's glory.

I am a big fan of Enrique Gil because of his good looks and witty charm wayback Forevermore Teleserye as one of the most loved soap opera that really captured our warm hearts. Enrique have proven his versatility as professional actor in many of his projects. He is not just a good actor, also a good dancer. He can even be the next Aga Mulach and will sure go a long long way in the showbiz industry.
During the conference, I discovered more about him. He showed so much passion in his humble crafts His charm is beyond physical with such good character as sign of a well upbringing. Values and respect to people are very obvious in the way he connect to us, bloggers.
I am very sure that this movie will be a remarkable piece that will be cherish in our cinema history forevermore. A movie about family, wherealways remembering is the most important part of us. Awesome cast like Ronaldo Valdez, Aga Mulach, Christine Reyes and Dingdong Dantes graced this movie. He shared his amazing experience with these veteran actors and said he learns a lot.

I enjoyed my intimate moment with David Archuleta with some of the Ovation Productions. Being one of the runner up winners of American Idol, he shared his battles with voices of the world. That season of his life seems very hard but because I believe he is called to overcome because of his strong faith of the One who created him "Jesus", that makes him even stronger. Upon advising his past industry that he was going to take a break, people around him told him to keep the momentum going and that people would forget him if he did take a break and told him all the reasons why that was a dumb idea.
David also stated that it scared him at that time but he decided to put his trust in God as he said, “But I think that sometimes God asks us to do some things that seem dumb to everybody else. He makes sense out of the things that don’t make sense to the world where He says He will cofound the world, the learnedand the smart ones of the world because to them, things like this doesnt make sense at all. But he is not looking at you being a miilionairewith fifty million followers or fans. I mean, he can use that for good but he doesnt value your on that matter... He is not a prospector of persobs... so i have to give that all my trust... As he surpassed that stage of pressure those who tried to pull him down.
He even shared his moments back when his sister was in highschool wherein his sister thought that she was ugly and was not that good enough and it was because they always thought and looked at things that they didnt have before.
David also shared that he thinks that social midea is a good thing but sometimes you have to put those gadgets away so you can check and find your self value again
God turned things around for him as he is now being used in GODLY MISSIONS of spreading God's goodbess and love. He is truly an authentic living testimony of God's mighty work

Tamarind Cove Porto Laiya
The weather is so perfect for us to enjoy our day tour at Tamarind Cove Porto Laiya, an awesome private community resort located at the beautiful haven in San Juan, Batangas.
The place is definitely more beautiful than the pictures in many social media posts. it's like paradise best for meditation and finding happiness. One of my favorite spot is in the middle edge of the pool facing the ocean. it is such a mezmerizing view! All I have in my mind is a thankful heart that is so amazed with God's beautiful creation. Nature is one best way to remind us how great our God is... The foggy sky almost covering the mountain, the warm temperature of the swimming pool makes my body feel so refreshed, the greenery scene of bamboo grove... they are really something to thankful for such finery of creations. Our balsa ride was truly exciting , the fine beach sand tickled my feet as we walked and heard the waves of the sea, very cool breeze of fresh air ,breath taking ocean view, the cozy cottages eased my inner being...
The smiles, kindness, and the excellent accommodation of the staff - Porto Laiya team makes this tour more special. Thank you so much Ms. Marisse. Every moment of my stay here is totally a wonderful getaway experience.

Sixteen Jr. NBA All-Stars of Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska, eight boys and eight girls, flew to Shanghai, China from Oct. 6-9 to enjoy a fun, enriching NBA basketball experience. The young ballers, ages 12-14 watched the live NBA China Game between 2017 NBA Champions Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Mercedes Benz Arena.
The Jr. NBA All-Stars cherished the opportunity to witness Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant combine for 90 points to lead the Warriors in a 142-110 win against the Timberwolves.
Jr. NBA All-Stars also had the chance to meet NBA Legend and defense specialist Jerome “Junkyard Dog” Williams. “Making it to the NBA starts with training and conditioning. If you love to do those things, then you will be a great basketball player. It’s the stuff that you do prior to the game that makes you great,” Williams shared the All-Stars in a brief training session with them.
Displaying their hardcourt prowess on the trip, the young Filipino athletes bested their fellow Jr. NBA All-Stars from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam to win the Jr. NBA 3-on-3 tournament. The all-girls team representing Jr. NBA Philippines went head-to-head against various opponents before bowing out to Thailand in the semifinals.
In addition to friendly peer competitions, the Jr. NBA 2017 All-Stars experienced intense basketball training from Jr. NBA Coaches Chris Sumner and Natalia Andre, implementing rigorous skills exercises in shooting, passing, footwork, post-up, and under-the-basket drills. Jr. NBA All-Stars also tried the local cuisine and toured famous landmarks in Shanghai.
The Jr. NBA is the league’s global youth basketball participation program that promotes basketball participation and an active lifestyle among children. The Jr. NBA All-Stars cherished the opportunity to witness Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant combine for 90 points to lead the Warriors in a 142-110 win against the Timberwolves.
Jr. NBA All-Stars also had the chance to meet NBA Legend and defense specialist Jerome “Junkyard Dog” Williams. “Making it to the NBA starts with training and conditioning. If you love to do those things, then you will be a great basketball player. It’s the stuff that you do prior to the game that makes you great,” Williams shared the All-Stars in a brief training session with them.
Displaying their hardcourt prowess on the trip, the young Filipino athletes bested their fellow Jr. NBA All-Stars from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam to win the Jr. NBA 3-on-3 tournament. The all-girls team representing Jr. NBA Philippines went head-to-head against various opponents before bowing out to Thailand in the semifinals.
In addition to friendly peer competitions, the Jr. NBA 2017 All-Stars experienced intense basketball training from Jr. NBA Coaches Chris Sumner and Natalia Andre, implementing rigorous skills exercises in shooting, passing, footwork, post-up, and under-the-basket drills. Jr. NBA All-Stars also tried the local cuisine and toured famous landmarks in Shanghai.

These were the top three innovative ideas that emerged as the big winners in yesterday’s East-West Seed (EWS)Innovation Olympics. Dubbed as the “hackathon” of agriculture, the EWS Innovation Olympics is a competition that challenges the next generation of leaders to develop new technologies to increase productivity of vegetable farmers.
Team Agriviz of the the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) wants to create an agricultural e-commerce platform that aims to incorporate data analytics and disseminate information to improve the productivity and profitability of Filipino vegetable farmers. Their e-magsasaka business model converts farmers’ mindset to being market-driven rather than production-driven.
Team i-Agri Ventures of UP Los Banos effectively defended their innovative idea of a “multi-crop dryer” that hopes to significantly increase farmers’ revenue by increasing the market value of thee crop and reducing post-harvest losses.
Team Oppa, also of UP Los Banos, came out with a technology that could increase the yield of farmers by as high as 87.5% using the very popular text messaging. Their contraption makes use of the weather, predicting rain pattern and effectively informs the farmers farm information in 30 seconds which normally takes 2-3 hours.
Teams Agriviz, i-Agri Ventures and Oppa bested out seven other student groups who vied for the top 3 positions and the honor of implementing their innovative ideas with an initial seed money of P150,000. For 120 days, they will implement their project in their selected farming community.
In January 2018, the team with the project that exemplified entrepreneurial innovation and made the most significant impact in their adopted farming community will be declared as the EWS Innovation Olympics Grand Champion and receive PhP 250,000 cash prize.

East-West Seed, established in 1982 as the first integrated vegetable company here in the Philippines, celebrates its anniversary this year with the theme, “Growing Opportunities.” “When my father, Dutch seedsman Simon Groot put up East-West Seed with Filipino seed trader, Benito Domingo, in 1982, in a humble 5-hectare lot in Lipa City, they had a common vision--to help smallholder farmers increase their income by providing high-quality seeds and training them on more productive and sustainable vegetable farming techniques,” said Maaike Groot, Public Affairs Manager of East-West Seed.
To date, East-West Seed has trained and enabled 46,782 smallholder farmers on proper vegetable farming techniques.
“Farmers represent the 2nd poorest sector in our country and it is so sad that because of this, our young people shy away from pursuing a career in agriculture. What people do not know is that vegetable farming is a lucrative profession and could be a key for our people to get out of poverty. But we need to address several challenges which we, at East-West Seed, continue to help,” adds Dr. Mary Ann Sayoc, Public Affairs Lead of East-West Seed.
The major challenge, Sayoc adds, is that farming practices in the country are outdated and majority of the farmers are yet to adopt modern techniques which makes farming labor intensive and unsustainable.
To help in addressing this, East-West Seed launched the Innovation Olympics this 2017 as part of their 35th Anniversary Celebration.

A technological contraption that utilizes different sensors and data to inform the farmer about the details of his vegetable farm through SMS or text messaging.
These were the top three innovative ideas that emerged as the big winners in yesterday’s East-West Seed (EWS)Innovation Olympics. Dubbed as the “hackathon” of agriculture, the EWS Innovation Olympics is a competition that challenges the next generation of leaders to develop new technologies to increase productivity of vegetable farmers.
Team Agriviz of the the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) wants to create an agricultural e-commerce platform that aims to incorporate data analytics and disseminate information to improve the productivity and profitability of Filipino vegetable farmers. Their e-magsasaka business model converts farmers’ mindset to being market-driven rather than production-driven.
Team i-Agri Ventures of UP Los Banos effectively defended their innovative idea of a “multi-crop dryer” that hopes to significantly increase farmers’ revenue by increasing the market value of thee crop and reducing post-harvest losses.
Team Oppa, also of UP Los Banos, came out with a technology that could increase the yield of farmers by as high as 87.5% using the very popular text messaging. Their contraption makes use of the weather, predicting rain pattern and effectively informs the farmers farm information in 30 seconds which normally takes 2-3 hours.
Teams Agriviz, i-Agri Ventures and Oppa bested out seven other student groups who vied for the top 3 positions and the honor of implementing their innovative ideas with an initial seed money of P150,000. For 120 days, they will implement their project in their selected farming community.
In January 2018, the team with the project that exemplified entrepreneurial innovation and made the most significant impact in their adopted farming community will be declared as the EWS Innovation Olympics Grand Champion and receive PhP 250,000 cash prize.
